How to Steam Clean a Mattress


Many peoples forget to clean their mattresses after buy. If you asked any people, do they wash their mattress after brought? Their answer will be no. So many people don't do this. Mattress generally picks so many dust and dead skin from the environment or in daily uses. So, your bed badly needs to clean after a time. The mattress cleaning best process is steam cleaning. This cleaning process can give you the best cleaning solution and perfect cleaning result!
By doing steam, you can remove urine, and sweat stain can kill bedbugs and dust from the mattress. You can also clean the pillows, pillow tops, memory foam mattress by using the steam cleaner.

Can you steam a mattress?

Well, so many people things that this is not possible for the mattress. But no, the bed also can clean by the steam cleaner.  And it's easy to clean.  To clean the mattress by using the steam, you need to use baking soda for that. Firstly, apply some baking soda top on the mattress, leave for an hour. After that, vacuum the mattress with the upholstery attachment.

Mattress Cleaning Process:

1. Cleaning process to use baking soda

you can choose the natural cleaning process with steam. However, to remove stains and sanitize from your mattress, the low-moisture steam with super-heat is the best way to clean. This process is naturally safe for your kids. For this process, you will need the baking soda, a steam cleaner, and a vacuum cleaner.
At first, remove all bedding from the mattress. Remove all pillows, mattress covers. At first, take a few amounts of baking soda and spread the baking soda all over the mattress. Leave the baking soda 30 to 45 minutes into the mattress. Vacuum the mattress and remove the dust with spread baking soda. Run the steam cleaner all over the mattress surface.
After finish, the cleaning process, leave the mattress for 4 hours to dry well. The steam cleaner does not leave a lot of moisture. But sometimes can little bit of trapped inside the mattress. So, leave the mattress on the open place. After the mattress gets well dry, make the mattress dressed! 

2. Using a Steam Iron

You can also clean your mattress by use the iron. If you don't have any vacuum or any steam cleaner, but you need to clean your bed, you can easily use the steam iron. Place a towel on the stain of your mattress. And press the iron on top of the cloth. Repeat this process until the stain gets removed!
This cleaning process is sufficient just for a small area. By using this process, you can remove only pee and sweat stain from the mattress. This process is lengthy, but if you don't have any steam cleaner, then this process is best for your mattress!
